Top-Ranked Alabama Takes on Tennessee in Men’s Hoops

Plus, the Cavaliers and Sixers face off in a key Eastern Conference showdown.

February is already halfway gone, and the shortest month of the year will continue to fly by with busy sports slates like the one on tap today. In men’s college basketball, we’ve got a top-10 matchup in the SEC and other high-profile matchups. Plus, there’s a dynamite slate in the NBA as the league heads into its All-Star break this weekend.

Here’s what I’m watching today.

Men’s CBB: No. 1 Alabama at No. 10 Tennessee

The Crimson Tide are officially the nation’s top-ranked team, jumping to No. 1 in the AP poll this week for the first time in 20 years and making a case for the top overall seed in the NCAA tournament in the process. Their first test as No. 1 is a big one, going on the road to take on a top-10 Tennessee team. The Vols will be particularly hungry for a win after three losses in their last four games, including a buzzer-beating defeat against Missouri over the weekend. These two teams are both legitimate Final Four contenders, so this showdown should be all kinds of fun to watch.
